BukProtocol has been working on merging tokenization with travel to date. While we remain believers, we see there are immediate battles that can be won to merge these two worlds (Blockchain + Travel).
BukProtocol enters the AI agent space to merge these worlds. Travel planning has always been a perennial problem for travelers. Digital and social media enable easy access to content, but curating this content into relevant responses concerning traveler queries remains a major challenge. With BukProtocol’s AI agents, we are solving these two issues: Personalization + Curation.
Imagine a world where AI agents handle every interaction — personalization agents working hand-in-hand with dedicated travel influencer agents to ensure smooth value exchange and communication.
AI Personalization: Travel, Built Around You Personalization agents enable the creation of traveler-specific plans, taking into account preferences (soft requirements — room size, swimming pool, etc.) and criteria (hard requirements — date, location, number of passengers). Evolving over time, the agents understand user preferences and automatically apply them to all future requirements, making the trip — be it hotel, flight, activities, experiences, taxi, etc. — memorable and smooth.
Curation (Followed by Itinerary Planning) Conventionally, curation is achieved by referrals, word of mouth, recommendations, and reviews from friends and family. In their absence, travelers rely on social media content and travel blogs to plan their itineraries. Our influencer agents are trained on travel content created by specific social media influencers, travel publishers, and bloggers, thus capturing their digital insights in a consumable form for travel planning for regular users.
Empowering Creators and Providers 10,000 Agents: There are more than 240,000 travel influencers, 450 travel publications, and innumerable travel blogs today. We aim for a modest target of 10,000 agents by the end of this year, allowing you to question, query, and plan your travel. Onboarding these influencers will be seamless with a single-click “Claim” or “Import” mechanism available for content creators to monetize their content. Service Providers: The influencer agents will not just be social media influencers but also service providers, experience providers, hotel companies, airline companies, resorts, local tour guides, or anyone engaged in the industry. This allows them to market their services and expertise to future travelers in an agentic fashion. Their agents will be doing virtual selling 24/7, 365 days a year. Travelers can also monetize their own personal travel records by sharing them with these service providers, enabling better curation for travelers.
Agentic Communication & Value Transfer Planning is conducted by personalization AI agents in collaboration with influencer agents, which will include crypto transfers for fee payments in an autonomous fashion, with the ability to include agency until the final booking.

Steps Ahead: Learning from past challenges, our agent will work on any prominent travel website, be it Agoda, Booking, or Expedia. The agent will be intelligent enough to comprehend screen data and act accordingly
Team Changes: Considering the change in our focus, we have made some tough decisions regarding the team structure. We had to let go of some of our skilled team members to onboard a new team with deeper AI expertise & experience building similar tools. We will continue to shape the team to meet our objectives
