Buktrips event highlights at HITEC, Dubai @ The Hotel Show — May 2023
Buktrips was well-received at HITEC Dubai during the Hotel Show for its tokenized hotel-room bookings platform.
We are happy to inform our web3 travel community that Buktrips was showcased at HITEC- Dubai @ The Hotel show.
The Hotel Show Dubai, is a premier exhibition for the hospitality industry. HITEC Dubai, is one of their prestigious events for hotel suppliers, owners, managers, and developers in the MENA region and serves as a platform for innovation and collaboration. We are honored to have been a part of these remarkable events and look forward to further contributing to the advancement of the hospitality industry.
The Buktrips team was in Dubai from 23–26 May 2023 where we presented to the audience our cutting-edge blockchain-based hotel inventory solutions. Through blockchain and NFTs, BUK aims to transform the booking process by making it seamless and secure for both travelers and hotels.
BUK Technology was recognized as the semi-finalist and awarded at E20X organized by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) at HITEC Dubai. E20X is a premium startup pitch competition that opens up access to investors in the travel techology space.
The BUK Technology team had their booth at the event arena and had a chance to network with hospitality partners over the course of three days in Dubai. We sparked interest from many senior hoteliers who emphasized that in the post-covid era they see technology solutions as major value creators for the hospitality and travel industry. They showed interest in Buktrips innovative blockchain inventory and upcoming NFT tradability of hotel rooms in secondary markets.
The event had good focus on data and analytics, sustainability, guest experience and the new-age travel generation. With this we do look to forging good partnerships and will continue our efforts to enable our web3 community to travel with transparency and true ownership.
