Multi-chains and popular cryptocurrencies, improved website, event & category-based searches, and more.
The Buktrips tech team continues to actively work on the project development. Here is a round-up of things accomplished to help make the web3 hotel booking experience seamless!!
Multi-currency/Multi-chain payments
While we initially supported only USDC on Polygon, we have now added support for users to book hotels using other cryptocurrencies across multiple chains. So users can use popular crypto like Ether (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), XRP, LTC, USDT, AVA, SOL and more on various other chains. This now gives more flexibility to web3 travelers and allows them to use their preferred crypto for hotel-room bookings.
Improved Website
We understand that the website navigation and interface is important for user-ease. We have made several optimizations to ensure faster load times and smoother navigation for our users. Map-based search on the website has been added to make it user-friendly for travelers exploring new destinations.
Additionally, we are working on adding support for wallets other than Metamask as well. This will be live over the next one month and will further enhance the user experience on buktrips.com
Partnership Discounts
Buktrips has deep relations and partnerships with other web3, NFT and blockchain projects and is dedicated to growing the vision of the developing ecosystem. We have enabled support for members of our partnering communities to get discounts on hotel-room bookings. This will provide real-world utility to all our community partners. Event & Category-based Searches
To make it easier for users to find hotels that are relevant to their specific needs and preferences, we have added event-based searches and category-based searches. This will provide many additional benefits to travelers. For instance, if someone is heading to TOKEN2049 Singapore, which is from 13–14 September 2023, they can access Buktrips search to identify hotel-rooms available around the TOKEN2049 event venue. Simply type your favored event in the search bar and we will show you the best offers in and around that area.
